Every month, from September '07 to March '08, the Bruneian public was able to nominate and vote for their favourite Bruneian blogs, which were divided into 5 different categories.
1. Best Personal Blog (Blogs from the Personal category)
2. Best Local Content Blog (Blogs from the Local Scene & Tourism Brunei categories)
3. Best Photo Blog (Blogs from the Photo Journalists category)
4. Best Lifestyle Blog (Blogs from the Travel, Lifestyles & Hobbies category)
5. Best Specialty Blog (Blogs from the Art & Design, Business, Economics & Finance, Education, Families, Societies & Associations, Food, Shopping, Health & Well-being, and Tech Categories)
6. Wild-Card Blog (All blogs except the 5 category winners)
All the 6 category winners were all up for one last vote which was held in April, to determine The Bruneian Blog of The Year!
